See you in Bologna
I will attend ROSCon Italia 2026, the first official Italian event in the ROSCon series of local conferences. It will take place on November 3, 2026, at the Hotel Regency Savoia in Bologna.
A first for the Italian ROS community
ROSCon Italia follows the established regional ROSCon model, bringing the international ROS community closer to local developers and organisations. The inaugural edition is intended to connect research centres, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and the wider open-source robotics ecosystem.
The conference is a chance to exchange practical experience with ROS 2, explore how Italian teams are moving robotics work from research into production, and meet the people building the local community. I am looking forward to discussions about perception, robotics software, and real-world deployments.
